ADVICE TO EVERYONE NEEDING FURNITURE

IF YOU or SOMEONE YOU KNOW wants help getting
Furniture from Ladywood Furniture Project

If you are looking for some help setting up home or you just need to get hold of some extra household items, we will try to help.

We offer a selection of Sound, Clean second-hand furniture, New electrical items and some New graded electrical items.

Our showroom is open Monday to Friday between 9.30 and 3pm, and once you’re a member you can come and shop here.

Everything you buy that’s too big to carry, will be delivered Free of Charge.

You have to be on benefits to shop at Ladywood Furniture Project because we subsidise everything we sell.

On your first visit,
We suggest that that you bring along the following:

  • Proof that you are currently receiving a supplementary or statutory state benefit. (Tax Credits, Retirement pension, Disability Pension) is fine.
  • Proof of your identity and proof of your address.
  • Your Driving License or Passport or National Insurance Card is fine.

And

If you live in rented accommodation, bring your tenancy agreement or a utility bill. Gas, Rates, Water, Electricity, Phone addressed to you at your address.

When you have registered as a member. you will be booked in by our staff who, will try to help you get the right items. Once you are registered, you can come as often as you want, we do limit how many of some items that you can buy, to give everyone a fair chance. If you don’t see items during your visit, our staff will look out for them and let you know if suitable items come in.

You must pay cash for the items that you choose, before they will be delivered.

Please note:

If you ask for a “Free Delivery” we will offer you a delivery date. If you accept this but you are not in on the agreed day. YOU will have to come here and pay a re-delivery charge of £20 before we will give you another delivery date or you have 7 days to arrange to collect from us. After 7 days we will sell the items and give you a credit less the delivery cost.

If you choose furniture that is TOO BIG to go into your property and you refuse to accept it when we get to your door, you can do this and send the item back but there is a £5.00 deduction from your credit.
